As per upcoming reports, Samsung is going to delay the release of the July release date of Galaxy Fold. As stated by a company official that “If we are running such a media event this month, we should be doing something by now”. this statement is actually refusing the earlier rumors that the “Samsung was looking at a July launch”. Samsung Official Further said that “Nothing has progressed since the April delay.”
So we can assume that that might place the first release date announced by the company for the Samsung Galaxy Fold between August. This is just because of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 10. Samsung wants to launch both big-screened Smartphones together and isn’t worried about, that both Smartphones can cannibalize each other’s sales.
Samsung Galaxy Fold was actually set to launch on April 26th, but the company consistently postponed the product after facing problems and multiple reviews by the users. Best Buy, AT&T, and even Samsung have canceled the preorders for the Galaxy Fold.
In May, co-CEO DJ Koh promised that “we will not be too late,” in terms of launch timing, and Samsung representatives have repeatedly commented that it would announce a new release date for the phone “in the coming weeks.”
