Apple is spending over $500 Million on Gaming Services

Apple is spending Hundreds of Million dollars, Likely over $500 million in total, to secure games for the subscription offering

As per reports, Apple is spending a huge amount of dollars which is about $500 Million to build its own “Arcade Gaming” service. The company announced its first gaming subscription service “Apple Arcade” in March 2019 that would” feature over 100 new and exclusive” games, including original releases from renowned creators like ken wong, Hironobu Sakaguchi and Will Wright.

The report further says, “It’s reportedly spending several million dollars per game, and is offering perks if developers grant temporary exclusives that keep titles off Android or even console subscriptions like the Xbox Game Pass”

The company Head announced that the Apple Arcade may launch on September 2019 in more than 150 countries from a new tab on the App Store across the macOS, iOS, and tvOS. Apple Arcade will bring games to the one billion gaming customers through App Store.

The service will feature games from Bossa Studios, Annapurna Interactive, Finji, Cartoon Network, Giant Squid, Konami, Klei Entertainment, LEGO, Snowman, Mistwalker Corporations, SEGA, ustwo games and dozens of others.
