How to prevent people from adding you to WhatsApp Groups


The Facebook-owned instant messaging app has a feature to avoid all irritating messages and prevent people from adding you to WhatsApp unwanted groups. Before you follow the below steps, keep in mind that you must have the latest version of WhatsApp on your iPhone or Android Device.

Let’s Try.

  1. Open WhatsApp
  2. Click on Three dotted “Hamburger” icon at the upper right corner
  3. Go to the Settings
  4. Tap on “Account Tab”.
  5. Tap on Privacy Tab

You will find the options “Last seen” Profile Photo” “About” and “Status” Tap on any of these options and you will find three more options “Everyone” “My contacts” and “Nobody”. It’s depending on you to choose who can actually add you by selecting any one option.

Keep in mind that if you choose the option “Nobody” then only the group admins will have a way to send you a private invitation request to the group. If you think that it is a group that would like to be a part of, then you can approve the invitation.

These are so easy steps that can obviously enable you to stop the endless interruptions of messages that keep blending in every other moment
