Oppo A31 is different from the phone which was launched in 2015 with the same name
It has been announced that Chinese mobile phone maker Oppo is working on a new affordable phone called the Oppo A31. This new mobile phone was noticed last month on the Bluetooth SIG certification site, revealing some key specifications for the upcoming mobile phone. Further details and a render of the future mobile phone have now been released.
Thanks to the render, we know the new phone will carry a triple camera setup along with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner the upcoming Oppo A31 is different from the phone which was launched in 2015 with the same name. 91mobiles posted the news of the leaked renders claims to have got the details from a credible tipster.
According to the leaks, Oppo A31 will feature a 6.5-inch display and pack in a 4230mAh battery. The illustration published by 91mobiles reveals the front of the phone will have a waterdrop notch. It also shows a triple camera setup alongside a fingerprint sensor at the end.
Oppo A31 would come in three colour options -Fantasy White, Lake Green, and Mystery Black. Leaker Ishan Agarwal has also disclosed to 91mobiles that a MediaTek Helio P35 SoC will power the Oppo A31 and ship with Android 9 instead of Android 10. This news contradicts a recent Geekbench Oppo A31 listing, which revealed that a MediaTek Helio P90 SoC would be sported on the new mobile phone and run Android 10.
So we’ll take a pinch of salt on the latest information. The phone is said to come in 4GB and 6GB RAM variants coupled with storage of 64 GB and 128GB, respectively.
A 16-megapixel primary shooter, a2-megapixel depth sensor, and a macro camera are said to be part of the triple camera on the back. An 8-megapixel camera mounted in the dew-drop notch is said to sport for selfies. With such information emerging, the phone’s launch probably isn’t far away.
