Oppo is Working on Two New Truly Wireless Earbuds

Oppo might soon introduce two new truly wireless earbuds, speculation prompted by the identification of a new patent application. Some pictures of both new earbuds were leaked, which indicate ear-tips silicone. Although one Oppo earbuds model appears to have a pro-like Apple AirPods style, the other could look quite similar to the Samsung Galaxy Buds+. In addition to the Find X2 flagship smartphone and the Oppo Watch smartwatch, the latest Oppo truly wireless earbuds may debut sometime next month.

Oppo filed the patent relating to the first truly wireless earbuds in April last year, though it obtained permission on February 18, 91Mobiles says. The blog has also posted some images of the new wireless earbuds that seem to suggest the new model’s design.

On the new earbuds, Oppo seems to introduce a microphone to detect ambient sound and allow improved noise cancellation. The earbuds also sport silicone ear-tips and are supposed to have a wear detection proximity sensor. Furthermore, the photos show a pogo pin connector for charging.

The leaked photos show that Oppo, with its two new earbuds models, could satisfy customers who are searching for the Samsung Galaxy Buds+ and Apple AirPods Pro.

The specifics of the leaked patent were not independently verified by Gadgets 360. An email sent to Oppo for clarification regarding the reported development was not elicited until this story was published. So, it is safe to look at the study with some skepticism.

In December last year, Oppo introduced the truly wireless Enco Free earbuds that come with a price tag of CNY 699. The earbuds come in three color options Red, Pink, and Black.
