Samsung is planning to declare a new launch date for its Galaxy Fold smartphone in the near future. The South Korean tech giant’ mobile phone business chief Koh Dong-jin said Korea Herald, the company “has reviewed the defect caused from substances [that entered the device], and we will reach a conclusion today or tomorrow [on the launch].”
The fact, that terminology would suggest that Samsung has identified a fix for the problem encountered by some users, whose Galaxy Fold created a bump within the screen after simply a few days of use. Samsung is planning to further enhance the reliability of the joint areas. Based on the Koh Dong-jin statement, the company may also decrease the space between the screen’s bezels as well as protecting layer.
