Samsung Galaxy M21 Specifications Tipped to Geekbench Listing

On the Geekbench benchmark site Samsung Galaxy M21, suspected to be the successor to the Galaxy M20, has emerged with key specifications. The benchmark listing comes weeks after the tipping of the Galaxy M21 with storage options of 64 GB and 128 GB.

It is speculated that the new Galaxy M-series phone would come in multiple color choices and run Android 10 out of the box. If we look at the rumor mill, next to the Galaxy M21, Samsung has the Galaxy M11 and Galaxy M31 as the two new models of the Galaxy M-series.

The Geekbench site shows the Samsung phone carrying model number SM-M215F. This appears to be the Samsung Galaxy M21 that would succeed in the Galaxy M20 in the coming future. The online listing includes some key specifications in addition to the early benchmark scores.

When we look at the details on the listing, the Samsung Galaxy M21 will run Android 10, along with the Exynos 9611 SoC and 4 GB RAM. The Exynos chip also displays a clock speed of 1.74GHz. Also, we’ve seen the same processing chip previously powering the Galaxy M30s, and it’s also believed to be present on the Galaxy M31.

The benchmark site also reveals that the phone got a 348 single-core score, and a 1,265 multi-core score. The listing was also posted on Friday, 24 January.

A leaked report mentioning the same SM-M215F model number stated that the Samsung Galaxy M21 would offer storage options of 64 GB and 128 GB and would come with a triple camera setup. These are the notable upgrades over storage options of 32 GB and 64 GB, and the dual rear camera setup featured on the Samsung Galaxy M20. The new benchmark page, however, does not provide any storage or camera information to support what was previously believed.

Besides the Galaxy M21, in its next-generation Galaxy M series, Samsung is expected to have the Galaxy M11 and Galaxy M31 as the new models. Last year’s article also pointed at the Galaxy M41, which would sit next to the other three new offers.

In late January of last year, Samsung launched its Galaxy M-series phones by introducing the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 as their first versions. This year, by releasing the rumored deals in the coming days, the company is likely to upgrade existing models.
