Microsoft has unintentionally released an internally designed document for its future Windows 10X operating-system first Noticed by WalkingCat. The record was available online for a short time today and exposed even more detail regarding Microsoft’s Operating system Windows 10X.

The company actually revealed Windows 10X like the operating-system running Microsoft’s brand new Surface Neo hardware. The new Operating system will also operate on identical dual-screen gadgets.

Till now, Microsoft has only officially verified that the new operating system will be available on dual-screen and foldable products, with adjustments to both taskbar and Start Menu. It is also obvious the Microsoft now aims to create all those improvements to traditional clamshell laptop hardware.

The published documents say that “For both clamshells and foldable, the taskbar will be the same base model with a series of ‘levers’ which can be pulled to create some alternatives in the model”.

In Windows 10X, Microsoft now represents the Start-Menu as the Launcher, which has a very effective and powerful focus on native search: “Search is seamlessly integrated with web results, available apps, and specific files on your device,” the published document has also disclosed. “Recommended content is dynamically updated based on your most frequently and recently used apps, files, and websites.”

Microsoft will also improve the Windows 10X Hello facial recognition experience for authentication. “When the screen turns on you are immediately brought to a state of authentication; unlike Windows 10 where you first need to dismiss the lock curtain before authenticating,” explains the document. “Upon waking the device, Windows Hello Face instantly recognizes the user and will immediately transition to their desktop.”

Microsoft as well says in the document, a “Modern File Explorer”. The software giant is definitely been focusing on an even more advanced UWP version (Universal Windows App) of the classic File Explorer, and it seems this would finally release with Windows 10X. It is going to be easier to access stored documents in Microsoft Office 365, OneDrive and other cloud storage services.

The company is additionally streamlining the quick settings and Action-Center feature in Windows 10X. These features will make it even faster to gain access to important device settings. Windows 10X will even assist personalization here, but rotation lock, projection, Wi-Fi, cell data, Bluetooth and airplane mode are a default quick settings.

If we talk about the Office side, it seems Microsoft is putting the first classic Win32 edition of Office as well as the PWA (progressive web app) web versions from Office.com for Windows 10X.
